    Electric strike with double external power connection.
    Object of the invention
    The object of the invention is an electric strike with double external power connection, comprising a box in which a rocker latch is mounted; an electrically operable latch release mechanism; and means for connecting the unlocking mechanism to an external power supply.
    This electric strike has features that allow the unlocking mechanism to be connected to an external power supply by two opposite ends of the strike, facilitating its installation.
    Field of application of the invention
    This invention is applicable in the field dedicated to the manufacture of automatic door locks.
    State of the art
    Currently, electric door locks are widely known that have a housing in which a rocker latch is mounted between an open position and a closed position; said locks also incorporating an electrically operable latch unlocking mechanism, and means for connecting the unlocking mechanism to an external supply.
    An unlocking mechanism commonly used in these electric strikes comprises a set of locking levers of the rocker latch and a solenoid which, when electrically powered, places said levers in an unlocked position.
    These electric strikes have a terminal strip on one end of the housing for the electrical connection of the solenoid with an external supply.

    Description of the invention
    The electric strike with double connection of external power supply, object of this invention, being of the type of those mentioned above, has characteristics aimed at satisfactorily solving the exposed problem, interchangeably allowing the connection of the strike to an external power supply by two opposite ends of the electric strike box, which simplifies its installation.
    According to the invention, the electric strike comprises an electrical connection device, provided with a PCB electronic circuit with two connection strips arranged at two opposite ends thereof and suitable for the optional connection of an external supply of the electric strike.
    In the mentioned PCB electronic circuit, the connection of a solenoid and a microswitch of the electric lock release mechanism is made.
    Said PCB electronic circuit is housed in the base of the electric striker housing, so that the two connection strips are arranged at opposite ends of the striker housing.
    The location of the two connection strips at the opposite ends of the electronic PCB circuit allows their incorporation into the electric strike without introducing any change in the product configuration.
    The aforementioned electronic circuit has a bridge or jumper to configure two power levels in order to provide different forces for opening the strike.

    Description of the figures
    To complement the description that is being made and in order to facilitate the understanding of the features of the invention, a set of drawings is attached to the present specification in which, with an illustrative and non-limiting nature, the following has been represented:
    - Figure 1 shows a perspective view of an example of realization of the electric strike with double external power connection, according to the invention.
    - Figures 2 and 3 show both perspective and top plan views of the electric strike of Figure 1, in which the rocker latch and the unlocking means thereof have been removed, to facilitate the observation of the electrical connection device with double external power connection arranged inside the locksmith box.
    Preferred Embodiment of the Invention
    In the exemplary embodiment shown in Figure 1, an electric strike has been schematically represented, (1) provided with a box (11) in which a rocker latch (12) is mounted and housing inside an unlocking mechanism ( not shown) of said rocker latch (12), electrically operable.
    According to the invention, this electric strike (1) has the particularity of comprising an electrical connection device (2) that includes an electronic PCB circuit (21) provided at two opposite ends of each connecting strip (22, 23) suitable for the optional connection, in any of them, of an external power supply for the activation of the electric strike (1).
    In said PCB electronic circuit (21) the electrical connection of a solenoid and a microswitch of the unlocking mechanism (not shown) of the electric strike (1) is carried out.
    As can be seen in figures 2 and 3 the electronic circuit PCB (21) is housed in the base of the box (11) of the electric strike (1), so that the two connection strips (22, 23) are arranged at opposite ends of said box (11).
    The location of the two connection strips (22, 23) at opposite ends of the electronic PCB circuit (21) allows their incorporation into the electric strike (1) without introducing any changes in the product configuration.
    5 The mentioned PCB electronic circuit (21) has a jumper or jumper (24) to configure two power levels, in order to provide different forces for opening the strike; in this specific case of 50 and 100kg.
